S A L T (Student Activities Leadership Team) 

Mission Statement

S A L T is a service, activity, and leadership team whose purpose is to actively participate in serving others on the  campus of LP (Logos Prep)  as well as our local community.  S A L T council members will demonstrate the love of Christ, outstanding character, and good leadership skills in all areas of participation.

 Our purpose is to encourage and promote biblical concepts of servanthood, help students develop their God given talents, and to glorify God while working for the betterment of the LP campus and the community.

 In addition to learning event planning skills, fundraising and service activities,         S A L T council is responsible for accepting new ideas from LP student body.  LP students are encouraged to submit new ideas in the form of a written proposal.  Forms may be picked up at the LP front desk.  Any new ideas to be considered must include all necessary information so it can be properly evaluated.  The S A L T council will then review the written proposal and submit it to the administration for further evaluation.

S A L T council members are learning that the success or failure of an event or activity rests on the involvement of each member.  S A L T is a student led and student organized so that they may earn ownership of activities and events.  

The S A L T Council is led by an Executive Council composed of six students who are in the 11th and 12th grades.

Two S A L T  Class Representatives are elected by grade level to represent their grade.
