Matters of The Heart - Character Development
A UMS school consists of three components; academics, student life and character development. Our handbook points out that one of the guiding principles of Logos Prep is to practice unyielding character. Our educational philosophy is to support our parents in reinforcing Christ-like attitudes and behaviors. At Logos Prep it is our desire to assist parents and teachers in the work of raising children to become world changers.
We have developed "Matters of the Heart" to facilitate this effort. This tool can be used as a guide at home and at school to help our parents and teachers in reaching the hearts of the Logos Prep community. We invite you to participate with other Logos Prep families, teachers, coaches, and administration in a monthly character development emphasis.
We realize students are at many different levels of maturity, both spiritually and physically. Please feel free to adapt this to the level of your student.
